Swaroop Srinivasa Rao is a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a focus on Web Development and Integration. Currently working as a Full Stack Web Developer at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he is responsible for developing and maintaining a Laravel-PHP based application that provides a paperless and automated workflow solution for students, professors, and advisors to manage and fill forms. He has also integrated the application with UCSB-specific APIs for Single Sign-on and auto-filling student data. Before joining the University of California, Santa Barbara, Swaroop worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Electronic Arts (EA) and as a Product Engineer at Inszoom. At EA, he worked on Cloud-based projects, gaining experience in Golang, Backend Development, and DevOps. At Inszoom, he handled projects on .NET MVC architecture, MSSQL Server 2016 with JSON, Web APIs, jQuery, and Bootstrap. He also developed a Javascript Chrome Extension called "INSZoom E-File," which auto-populates data from their native application to an external website. Swaroop has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Engineering in Mysore.
